Get in, filch the supplies from the Fatui, and get out. That’s all she needs to do. Lumine has done this commission a thousand times before. Surely, nothing will go wrong, right? Surely, a certain Fatui Harbinger won’t get in her way and compromise her mission, right?
Lumine and Tartaglia seek shelter from a rainstorm in an inn, where they find very limited accommodations.
“I know your queen sent you to find out what I’m up to,” Lumine says. “I would love to send you back and tell her to fuck off, but I think keeping you would make for a much better message, am I right?”
Not all scars are earned from battles. Some scars are given to you by force. And some scars, you ask to be carved into you.
Lumine could have simply asked Childe for the recipe, but she wanted this to be a surprise.
“I’ll do anything.” Childe says it in a low voice, so hushed that Lumine almost doesn’t catch it, but she does, and the words ignite a fire in her.
“Whatever you ask of me, I’ll do it,” he adds.
As one of Tsaritsa’s secret agents, it’s Childe’s duty to keep Teyvat safe, which in turn keeps his wife safe.
But what is the point of all this, of being a secret agent and thwarting criminals, if he cannot even protect the love of his life?
Lumine is faced with a choice between lesser evils: to take a monster's life, or let him go and risk destruction and chaos.
Witnessing the slow, excruciating pain of Childe succumbing to a poison of her own doing fills Lumine with a dread that threatens to consume her whole.
Theirs is a game of cat and mouse; Childe is the cat and Lumine the mouse, but all too often Childe finds himself losing. Not that he's complaining, not when he gets to see the view from below her. Strands of blonde hair cascading down her face, sweat dripping from her chin, her chest heaving shallow breaths.
Lumine finds solace in a Fatui Harbinger.
Childe is given a mission by the Tsaritsa to stop the Abyss Order’s leader down in the Far South. There, he meets a familiar face, and his duty as Fatui Harbinger becomes a heavy burden he must carry.
An AU where Princess Lumine of the Abyss Order and master swordswoman Skirk are one and the same.
